RYUJIN feat. Matthew Heafy mit neuem Brett zu "The Rainbow Song"

Die 2011 als Gyze gegründete Samurai-Metal-Band RYUJIN liefert mit ihrem kürzlich angekündigten kommenden selbstbetitelten Album RYUJIN , das am 12. Januar 2024 über Napalm Records erscheint, geschickt Heavy Metal und flammende Gitarrenzauberkunst aus Japan! Die High-Speed-Riffs und halsbrecherischen Gitarrenabläufe der Band verbinden sich mit traditionellen japanischen Elementen und liefern einen Sound, der von allem beeinflusst ist, vom alten Orchester-Gagaku bis hin zu modernem Anime Themen.

Im Anschluss an die Veröffentlichung der zuvor veröffentlichten ersten Single des Albums, „Raijin & Fujin“ , hat die Band gerade eine weitere neue Single mit dem Titel „The Rainbow Song“ veröffentlicht. Wie ihre erste Single enthält der melodische Power-Metal-Track einen wesentlichen Beitrag des bereits erwähnten Albumgastes Matthew Kiichi Heafy.

RYUJIN mastermind Ryoji Shinomoto says about the new single:
“We are very proud of this song. The song is a fusion of Japanese 90s anime songs and power metal. We all absolutely love it! The video features nature footage of my hometown, Hokkaido, and Ainu tribal costumes, as I am very proud of the beautiful nature we have here. Matt arranged the lyrics, which were originally written about trout, and he also sings the chorus with me! Also, it’s the first song without growls and you can also hear my first high tone shout before my solo!“
