Interview: Siamese

Wir haben uns auf einem Bier mit den Jungs von Siamese getroffen und haben sie zu einer Frage und Antwort Runde eingeladen.

Siamese :

German. I do love me a simple becks. Japanese beers are also up there <3

Siamese:

Aalborg Akvavit. Repping Denmark

You have one day of world domination, what would you change?

Siamese:

Easy. Hunger.

Festivalstalker:

Who are your most important role models and why?

Siamese :

My mother and my first music teacher. Mother is always best. Walked 18 km. everyday to make it to work in Serbian in blistering snowstorms. She is the reason for what I am. My musicteacher in gymnasium who died an early death due to cancer. He tough me the basics of singing. The thing that puts food on the table these days.

What do you always have with you in the tour bus?

Siamese:

My laptop and my books.

Festivalstalker:

How did you get to know each other?

Siamese:

Everyone in the band is an add on from the danish music scene. I stole each and every member of this band from other good bands that I’ve seen live.

Beer or wine?

Siamese:

Beer but white wine comes in a close second.

How do you describe your sound to someone who has never heard your music before?

Siamese:

If Justin Timberlake discovered heavy guitars and double kick
Which band would you like to go on tour with? Issues, Normandie, Dance Gavin Dance
Last question – What is your most favourite show you ever played with the band? It was back this winter i think. In Copenhagen. A charity event where all the money went to a children home. We went on to raise 15.000 euros and the love at the venue was immence.
