WAYFARER kündigen mit "False Constellation" Ihr neues Album "American Gothic" an

Wayfarer gilt als eine der führenden Metalbands des amerikanischen Westens. Bestehend aus vier schwarz gekleideten Musikern aus Denver, Colorado, bedient sich der Sound der Band beim Black Metal, Gothic Country und Americana – und schafft so ein eigenständiges, einzigartiges Metalgenre.

Heute kündigt die Band ihr neues Album “American Gothic” an – ein Statement in Sachen Western Heavy Music, das die dunkle Seele der Nation erforscht.

Gemeinsam mit dem renommierten Produzenten Arthur Rizk (Eternal Champion, Kreator) hat die Band das neue Album aufgenommen, das am 27. Oktober 2023 erscheinen wird. .

Heute veröffentlicht die Band ihre erste Single und das Video zu “False Constellation”.

“This album is an exploration of the American idea, and the darkness that surrounds it. It was built from the ground up to encapsulate the feeling of this place and its bitter history in every way, fully integrating traditional musical stylings into its darker and more extreme sound, and serves as a definitive statement on Western American Metal.
We were able to fully realize this in working with producer Arthur Rizk to bring the album to life, and it’s in its own territory now. This is the Wayfarer sound, and this is American Gothic. We look forward to sharing it with the world.”

Das Album besticht durch kraftvolles Riffing, düstere Melodieführung und pointiertes Songwriting und ist eine Beerdigung des amerikanischen Traums. Unter Staub und mit Blut und Schießpulver bedeckt, zeichnet es ein ebenso brutales wie wunderschönes Szenario, in dem Wayfarer ihre einzigartige und unverfälschte Form des Metals auf ein neues Niveau heben.
