Die Pioniere des filmischen Folk-Metals Equilibrium freuen sich, mit ihrer brandneuen Single „Bloodwood“ zurück zu sein. Der Track, zu dem ein beeindruckendes Video erscheint, erzählt die Geschichte eines Baumes, der Mensch wird. Seine Geschichte entfaltet sich mit unverfälschten Emotionen, während er die Schönheit, den Schmerz und die Verwirrung der Verwandlung in Fleisch und Blut erlebt. Es geht um Herkunft, Verlust und die langsame, heilige Gewalt des Werdens.
